  8. Vision Community Homework Policy • Assignment one day late lunch detention • Assignment two days late Make-up session assigned by teacher and communicated by the student • Assignment three days late office referral and parent contact made

  9. Vision Community Behavior Policy • I can show respect to my teachers through actions and words and I understand that any negative conduct will not be tolerated. • I can come to class with all materials and I understand that trips back to my locker will not be tolerated. • I can immediately stop a behavior at my teachers' request and I understand that any kind of defiance will not be tolerated. • Ticket monitored bi-weekly rewards • Community detentions • RSMS Handbook and discipline matrix

  10. Creating a smooth transition • Help with organization weekly • Check student’s agenda book • Infinite Campus access and regular checks • Open communication

What to expect the first day/week of school: • Acclamation to the building • “Getting to know you” activities • Lunch procedures lunch number? • Arrival and dismissal procedures transportation plans? • Locker assignment • Placement tests in Math and LA • Class schedules received Monday, August 12th

  12. Locker Assignment/Breaks • Bringing your own combination lock • Fewer breaks for textbooks, instruments, gym clothes, etc. • Essential to keep a folder for each class in one binder

  13. Paperwork Folder • We will collect $35 school fee and any registration forms at any time • Look for paperwork folder Friday, August 9th • Visit Scott County Board of Education to complete any early waiver forms
