National Flood Hazard and Risk maps production • 10/2010 – 11/2013 • Project within the Operational program of Environment • Total budget: 12 620 000,- Eur (85% cofinancing) • Mail goal: • Elaboration of the estimated evaluation of the flood risk • Flood hazard maps of the water-courses in Slovakia • Flood risk maps of the water-courses in Slovakia

Measurement & maintenance on Danube in 2013 • Planned measurements • Common stretch SK-HU • National stretch • Common stretch SK-AT • Reservoir Hrusov, inflow & outflow canal of Gabcikovo • Extra measurements • After flood event in June 2012 • Maintenance • Marking of the fairway – weekly • Dredging activities – according to the project of dredging

  8. ENC • IE standard – version 2.1 ready – work on harmonization of RIS-index into the maps (cooperation with SPS) • Depth information involved • Availability on SVP OZ BA web page

RIS – SK status • Responsibilities • SPS (State Navigation Authority) • Implementation within IRIS EU projects • Vessel Tracking & Tracing (Inland AIS) • Full coverage (4 AIS based stations) • Lock of Gabcikovo – radar system interconnected with AIS • Carriage of AIS transponders – still not in force – under preparation within another amendment of Inland Navigation Act • NtS • According to the latest standard – version 3.0 • Connection with NEWADA FIS portal • Electronic reporting • In line with standards (EC Regulation no. 164/2010)

RIS – SK status • Reference data (RIS index) • Available – version 1.1 • Cooperation with SVP – including into the IENC charts • International data exchange • Hull data, national & international level – since 2012 via web service • Exchange of position data, voyage related data & accident related data via web service – currently with AT in test operation • Exchange of national reference data – RIS index with the European Reference Data Management system - implemented • WLAN access points imlemented

RIS – SK status – next steps • Mandatory of using transponders – since 2014 • Planned activities within IRIS EU III: • Implementation of national FIS portal, provision of online info about shallow sections • Updating of RIS index • Pilot implementation of mobile RIS application (NtS) • Improvement of Calamity Abatement Service, operational interconnection with rescue force • Implementation of quality of information services for RIS • Enhancement of interfaces to authorities, logistical users, etc.
