  3. Clarification of Club Objectives - March 2007 Membership Survey has been completed (Report to Membership March 2007) Survey  Multi-year Plan  Board action

  4. Land Tenure Fredericton - Spring 2007 February 2007 request to extend term of lease and expand area leased October 2007 invitation to input FYC long-term vision June 2008 submission of FYC long-term vision October 2008 Request for Proposals

  5. Land Tenure Fredericton - Spring 2007 November 2008 FYC intention to renew per existing lease agreement November 2008 letter indicating that FYC will not present an RFP proposal this task is an on-going task

  6. Infrastructure Assessment Fredericton – November 2007 August 2007 crane pad upgrade 2007/08 moorings catalogued, inspected, upgraded and new moorings installed 2008 Tanzer swamp repaired refer to Rear Commodores’ reports

  7. Growth of Club – November 2007 Paul Smith’s committee report at fall meeting 2007 objective completed

  8. Long Term Financial Sustainability - March 2008 senior member fees increased effective with the 2007/08 fiscal year this will need re-visiting as the new lease is negotiated

  9. Environment - March 2008 no work has been done on this

  10. Winter Storage - March 2008 no work has been done on this this is not a pressure point at this time since the yard is not full

  11. Community Relations Fredericton and Douglas Harbour – November 2008 not active at this point

  12. New Programs – November 2008 this should be deferred until after the new lease has been negotiated

  13. Conclusions: land tenure is the critical path task delay in this has impacted other planned tasks land tenure should be the central focus during 2008/09 the plan has served to focus scarce resources on membership priorities the plan needs to be updated – likely after the new lease is negotiated
