  2. Title of Album? Shows that the last one was going to be it but then this really is the last one Colour palette Dark colours shows mystery and drama Parental Advisory sticker? Shows that his music will include swear words Body Language Bowing shows some mystery towards Costume Shows that he is performing an act Location / Setting He is performing an act and he is going to show us the real him in the album Font Makes it seem like an action album

  3. Audience clapping He is a role model and performer. Means he may have a different side to him that he doesn’t show on stage Gun in hands He seems to be a nice person but if you cross him he might be violent It also could show that he doesn’t want to get stabbed in the back so he brings a gun to a knife fight. Position of camera Shows that if you listen to this then you will be on his side

  4. Props The gun is like you thought that it was a real gun Shows he likes to keep you on your toes. Facial Expression / Body Language Show he is serious and makes us as an audience wonder if he is joking or not

  5. What to talk about when analysing album covers • Text eg the words, name of artists, name of album etc • Font choice • Colour palette • Location / setting • Costume & props • Body Language / Facial Expression • Camera shot / angle / framing • Graphics / logos • Positioning of elements eg text, person, graphics etc

  6. TASK • Complete / add detail to the analysis of the Eminem album cover and upload to your blog as "Analysing Eminem Digipak". Extension Tasks 1) Complete any of the other blog tasks from this week 2) Complete another analysis of an album cover of your choice by any artist
