  6. Structural Business Rules • Every employee must have an ID badge • Every cage must have an ID number • All employees must follow their schedule • Orders must be finished in chronological order • Companies placing orders are checked for background information • All records are never deleted • Employees must have clearance to enter other farms • Cages are divided into sections

  7. Procedural Business Rules • Oyster cages must be inspected daily • Oceanographic data must be reviewed regularly • Changes in data acted upon immediately • Oysters are maintained every hour • Orders made must be in supply before placing the order

  8. Common Obstacles Oysters have many threats, one is water pollution that effects oysters and some of them really get hurt and the process of them delivering the pearl may take longer or the pearl will not be as healthy. Oysters can catch a disease quick if they are not in a healthy environment and given the proper care. Other issues that oysters have is predators such as starfish, Florida stone crab, gulls, and sting rays.

  9. The Solution After months of research and studying EEPA has come out with the solution to save our oysters from water pollution. We have now employees measuring the percentages of pollution in the waters and recording the data. We have all of our oysters in a clean environment where there is a less chance of our oysters catching diseases. Our company has built thicker cages for the oysters so the predators would not attack.
