  2. Querência Hostel has been developing a pionner ecology- oriented work since 1995 in the Park, itself, and also in its surroundings. We suply and rent all the necessary gear and provide bilingual guide , transportation in 4x4 vehicle, mules and food in tours that are safe, but most of all, fun!

We provide 47 beds distribuited in 14 rooms, been some shared and others for couples and the family. We have a library, a big porsh with a barbecue pit and hammocks, shuttlecok field, laundry and a kitchen for members. Kitchen Collective bedroom Dormitório coletivo Being away only 16 km (10 miles) from Querência Hostel, Cedar’s Lodge is one private conservation unit located in one of the most espetacular river oh the Caparaó range, the “Rio Claro”(clear river). We offer two houses with all of the kitchen and beding itens for a total of up to 20 people. We program trails in the surrounding areas, besides the famous “River Trekking”, that is the climbing of the “Rio Claro” through the rocks until its source. UNFORGETABLE!! NOT TO BE MISSED!!   6. Our tours are done by capable guides to handle the safe being of our climbs being them families, schools or individual tourist. The 4x4 transportation is done in confortable vehicles and every passenger is insured. The mules are used to transport gear and people to “Terreirão”camp site.   8. RIVER TREKKING A walk along the river This tour takes us to know the most spetacular river in the Caparaó range, the “Rio Claro”. Lasting around 6 hours we climb up through the rocks of the river, passing through natural pools and breathtaking waterfalls. Lunch is served at the famous “Merge of the Rivers”.The return trip is done in a beatiful trail through the woods.

Peak of the Flag 2,892 meters(9,543 feet) high The third highest mountain in Brazil, the “Pico da Bandeira” functions like a magnet atracting adventuresome people from Brazil and all over the world. Our team will take you to experience this great emotion with safety and confort.
