  3. Classroom Expectations Do’s • Complete all assignments on time. • Check SchoolWires for assignments. • Two bathroom passes a week. • Follow directions and ask for clarification if needed. Dont’s • Speak when other’s are talking. • Take out your cell phone, it will be taken away. • Zero tolerance: disrespectful behavior or hurtful comments. • Hall roaming will be a write up. • Plagiarism

((Recommend folder, notebook, and highlighters.)) • Seated at the sound of the bell. • No talking, complete journal entry. • Write down daily objectives. • Mini-lesson (grammar, literature, or life)

  12. Novels • Lord of the Flies The Lord of the Flies is about a group of boys who find themselves stranded on a deserted island. They try to keep order and govern themselves. This leads to chaos and the group of boys breaks into two tribes and fight among themselves. • Macbeth This drama is one of the great tragedy themed plays by William Shakespeare. The themes illustrated in the play include ambition, fate, deception and treachery.

  13. “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me” Activity  • In order to create a family environment, we must first know and trust each other. Think of 25 things that you believe people should know about you. Hobbies, family, goals, pet peeves, likes, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses, etc.
