  2. Info about Confucius • Confucius was Chinas first teacher and thinker. Confucius was born in a small state of Lu. He was only three when his dad died. But some other information says he was a orphan. When Confucius was 19 he got married and had a son and daughter. He found a government job. The government officials didn’t like his ideas. At age 30 he left politics and started his teaching career. Then he died in 497 B.C.E. . Here’s a famous quote from Confucius “What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.” –Confucius.
