  2. International:Turkish Troops Attack Kurdish Rebels in Iraq • The Kurdish Rebels, that live in Northern Iraq have been attacking Turkey and now Turkey is attacking back. • Kurdish people want to make their own country.

  3. International:Turkish Troops Attack Kurdish Rebels in Iraq • Turkey moved into Iraq on Good Friday with 10,000 people. • Turkey is hoping that this attack will last about 15 days.

  4. Economic: January Foreclosures • 57% more people couldn’t afford the mortgage payment of their houses. • 233,001 homes were affected.

  5. Economic: January Foreclosures • Lowering interest rates and reducing the balances. • 18 states made a huge improvement since last January. • California, Florida, and Nevada

  6. Economic: January Foreclosures California- More than 57,000 homes lost. 1 out of every 227 homes. Florida- About 30,000 homes were lost. 1 out of every 273 homes.

  7. Domestic: McCain’s Endorsement • On President’s day, in Houston, Texas, former President Bush made a speech to attract voters. • Still a G.O.P “Grand Old Party.” • “True Conservative”
