  2. Determining Scale Factor • Scale Factor = dilation length/original length • r means scale factor in this book • Ex 1: Find the scale factor if BA is 4 and B’A’ is 12

  3. Graphing Dilations • Ex 2: Graph A(–2, –2), B(–1, 2), C(2, 1); r = 2 • Ex 3: Graph A(0, 0), B(3, 3), C(6, 3), D(6, –3); r = 1/3
