Personal and Professional Goals • Personal and Professional Goals: • Now: Work hard and graduate from senior high school • Future: Study at a good University . • Study medicine major. • Become a doctor. • Why? • I want to help sick people. • When I was young, I think doctors are very • cool and kind.

  3. Personal and Professional Goals • The importance of my profession: • Help many sick people. • In the future can prolong the people’s lives. • We have a long history about medicine, we can learn a lot of knowledge about our country.

Studying in the United States • why studying in the United States is important: • We can learn a lot of culture about America. • More creative • A lot of teamwork, learn how to work together. • I can learn how to work independently. • Live without my parents, it’s a good exercise. •  The benefit of studying in the U.S • Less people in a class.

  8. Green River Community College Environment: Seattle: Seattle has wet winters and warm, dry summers.It's very beautiful. There are a lot of libraries and museums. Clubs GRCC offers more than 30 clubs each year . I like the weather of Seattle, it's very comfortable. Also Seattle's people are very kind and friendly,they like helping others,and like reading books, I can learn from them. I'm interested in some clubs, such as Film Club ,I like watching films. I think I can learn from this club, and make friends with American people.

  9. Transfer Colleges and Universities Stanford University Stanford has a large and beautiful campus. Also Stanford has great medicine major. I want to study medicine major, so I think Stanford is a good university for me. University of Washington University of Washington has famous medicine major, and I like the campus. There are a lot of old buildings. Also University of Washington has a long history, we can learn about American culture.

Transfer requirements • Stanford: • The ACT Plus Writing or the SAT (Critical Reading, Math and Writing) is required. • Sent school report to Stanford university. • Need TOEFL scores. • University of Washington: • Students attending Washington state community colleges are encouraged to sent winter quarter grades and credits posted to University of Washington. • Need TOEFL or IELTS scores

Transfer Colleges and Universities • Identify the services at each institution available to Students. • Stanford: • a dedicated faculty advisor, leadership coach, career advisor and student life advisor • UW:Advisers help students make plan about major. • Environment: • Stanford: Stanford is located in California,California has good education,also has rainy, cool winter and dry summer. • UW: it's same to GRCC, they are at same place.Stay at same place maybe boring, but I don't need to face a new environment.

  14. Self-Assessment Are you ready for college? Yes, I think I am ready for collage. First, I never late. It's very important. Second, I work hard, I do my homework everyday and always think about the assignments that teachers give us.During this summer, I know I can do team work and I like team work, I like exchange our ideas. I need to be more active at class. I think I need to improve my speaking and reading skills.
