At Sunoco & Mobil traffic light take a right onto Allen Street. Follow Allen Street approx. ½ mile to stop sign and go straight; take 2nd right following Allen St. up the hill to the East Washington Road intersection. Stay on Allen Street and take the driveway after the second house on right after intersection (just after fire hydrant and before pond and it is only 1 mile from Rt. 6). From Rt. 84 (Farmington): 84 West-Take Exit 38 (Bristol Rt.6). At end of ramp you will be on Rt. 6 West. 84 East-Take Exit 37 (Fienneman Road). At end of ramp take a left. At second traffic light take a left onto Rt. 6 West. Follow Rt. 6 West for approx. 13 miles to Terryville. At traffic light at Mobil station take a left onto Allen Street. Follow directions above on Allen Street. From Rt. 72: Follow Rt. 72 to Terryville. At intersection of Rt. 6, follow Rt. 6 West to next traffic light at Mobil station. Take left onto Allen Street. Follow directions above on Allen Street. If inclement weather, please call!

  2. Rules and Regulations • Please leave all dogs AT HOME. This is a must. • 2. Entry fees will be 15.00 per class. $18.00 for TAF Equitation Challenge and TAF Mini Medal. Post-entry fee of $10.00 per entry form. Pre-entries will be accepted up to 7 p.m. previous night of show (phone, fax,e-mail, or mail). terryallenf@yahoo.com • Refunds or entry fees will not be made once the horse or exhibitor has entered the show grounds unless a Veterinarian's or Blacksmith's certification of lameness, injury, or illness is shown. • A negative Coggins and rabies vaccination certificate (within one year of date of show) must be presented with entry form. • 5. No stallions allowed on the show grounds. • 6. A red ribbon must be worn in the tail of horses that kick. • 7. Horses unsound will be disqualified at the judge's discretion. • 8. Classes will be called three times. Exhibitors have 2 minutes after the last call and the entry fee will be forfeited. • 9. Schooling in the ring is from 8:00-8:45 a.m. • 10. Hunter classes will be judged on performance and soundness. Equitation classes: to be judged on seat, hands, guidance, and control of horse. Pleasure classes: to be shown on a loose rein. Horses should be moving freely in a pleasurable gait. Hunter Under Saddle classes: to be shown at a walk, trot, and canter both ways of the ring. Light contract with horse's mouth is required. Horses should be alert, obedient, responsive and move freely. • 11. Champion and Reserve will be awarded in each division. • 12. $20 Fee for overnight stabling (with reservation). • 13. Proper attire is suggested. Hard hats and boots with a heel MUST BE WORN. Pony Hunter Division Open to ponies under 14.2 and has to be shown by a junior rider. 14. Pony Hunter Over Fences 2 15. Pony Hunter Over Fences 2’ 16. Pony Hunter under Saddle Junior Hunter Division Open to riders 18 and under. 17. Junior Hunter Under Saddle 18. Junior Over Fences 2' 19. Junior Over Fences 2’3 20. TerryAllen Farms Equitation Challenge. Open to any rider who participated in any Walk, Trot, Canter class. Walk Trot riders are ineligible for this class. This class to be judged on seat, hands, guidance, and control of the horse. Six ribbons and a trophy awarded in this class. 21.TerryAllen Farms Mini Medal Open to any riders that have participated in any Walk, Trot, Canter classes. This class will be judged on Equitation. 50% on jumping phase and 50% flat phase. Jumps set at 2’6. Six ribbons and a trophy will be awarded. Open Division Open to all horses ponies, and riders. 22. Open Hunter Equitation 23. Open Hunter Pleasure 24. Open Hunter Hack Schooling Hunter Division. Open to all horses, ponies and riders. Rider can pick height of fences 2,2’6,-2’9 25. Schooling Hunter Under Saddle 26. Schooling Hunter Over Fences 27. Schooling Hunter Over Fences Open Equitatio n Division Open to all horses, ponies, and riders. Rider could pick height of Jumps 28. Equitation Over Fences 29. Equitation over Fences 30. Equitation Under Saddle Schooling Jumpers Open to all horses or ponies 31. Schooling Jumpers 2’3 32. Schooling Jumpers 2‘6 33. Schooling Jumpers 2’9 34.Gambler’s Choice 2 minutes to jump as many jumps as possible. Who ever jumps the most jumps wins. Warm-Up: 8:00 – 8:45 A.M. CLASSES BEGIN AT 9:00 A.M. Beginner Walk-Trot Division diagonal don't count Open to riders who have not competed in any classes requiring the rider to canter or jump, and has not won a blue ribbon at any other show. Diagonals don't Count. Open to rider of any age. 1. Beginner Walk-Trot Pleasure 2. Beginner Walk-Trot Equitation 3. Beginner Walk-Trot Poles Walk-Trot Division Open to riders who have not competed in any classes requiring the rider to canter or jump. 4. Walk-Trot Pleasure 5. Walk-Trot Equitation 6. Walk-Trot X-Rails 7. Walk Trot Equitation ChallengeOpen to riders 12 years of age and under that have not competed in any classes that require them to canter. Beginner Walk Trot Canter Division Open to any horse or rider who has not competed in Classes in which fences exceeded 18' in height and Must be in their first year of cantering at a show.
