Monitoring Program

This program analyzes 24 monitoring wells and 17 domestic wells four times a year to determine groundwater quality levels, including nitrate, dissolved oxygen, conductance, pH, and sulfate. The depth to water measurement is also collected. Results show trends in the quality levels of the wells, including decreasing, steady, increasing, and non-responsive trends. Additionally, this program extends its monitoring efforts to other areas such as the SWV GWMA, public water supplies, volunteer groups, real estate transfers, and comprehensive surveys.
