  2. Introduction • Whilst we were in Hungary one of our projects was to work on establishing a virtual supermarket using all environmentally friendly products.

  3. I worked with two German girls, two Hungarians and a Spanish girl. We each decided what our home countries could offer to the building of the company.

  4. Food • Each country had to determine what food we could offer to our customers according to season. This way everything we sold we fresh and healthy at all times and also that food miles would become fewer.

  5. Building Materials • We were to use environmentally friendly store building technology like solar panels and insulation with sensors on doors and windows so no heat or energy would be wasted.

  6. Human Rights • Also as part of the task we had to be actively trying to combat some human rights issues within our franchise. • For example, child labour was completely unacceptable. We also specialised in selling fair trade products. • Our workers were encouraged to join trade unions.
