  7. KEY ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION Associated with NTPC since 1986. Presently, working as General Manager & Company Secretary of NTPC Limited and in Charge of Corporate Law division. As a team leader, my key role are : • Compliance of Companies Act, 1956 Listing Agreement, SEBI Guidelines • Negotiating & finalizing joint Ventures Agreements, Shareholders Agreement etc. • Ensuring compliance of legal requirements of 5 subsidiaries and 20 Joint ventures of the Company • Dealing with Court Cases & all other legal matters of NTPC Limited • Finalization of Accounts of some of joint ventures.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS: Professional • Handling Initial Public Offering & Further Public Offering of Shares • Demerger & Merger • Listing & Issue of Debentured/ Bonds • Issue & renewal of Public Deposit Schemes • Negotiating & Finalizing Joint Venture Agreements/ Shareholders Agreements • Maintenance of Accounts of two Joint Venture Companies

  9. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS: SOCIAL Being differentially able, pursued various issues with the different authorities in the Government so that other should not face similar difficulty. E.g. • Perused matter with Maruti Udyog Limited to produce passenger cars for physically handicaps • Taken up matter with ministry of Finance regarding concession in excise duty on passengers cars for disabled persons • Taken up matter with Railways for grant of concession to handicaps in AC class • Taken up matter with ministry of Finance for enhancement of deduction under Section 80U of the Income Tax Act 1961 .
