DEMAND AND SUPPLY OF MET EQPT • Common user items from local Lgs Sqn • Annual demand of consumables (By 30 Sep every year). • Demands based on min requirements consistent with operational efficiency. • Quantity on the basis of physical stock as on 15 Sep including reserve stock for six months. • Additional demand.

  5. MET AUTOMATIC REPLENISHMENT SYSTEMS (MARS) • Issue to be completed by 15 Jan every year. • Based on min requirement and reserve stock for 6 months. • Inter-Command transfer and emergency issue will be authorised by Air HQ. • Hydrogen cylinder by Air HQ once in a year and additional supply to WAC in June.

  6. LOW VALUE ITEMS • Fast moving spares besides other low value items placed at Command HQs. • Unserviceability within command servicing & repairs carried out with trained airmen • List of low value items reviewed at the time of revision of MSI. • Items supplied as per fixed schedule annually. • Command HQs to ensure stock level above red levels specified for each item.

  7. INVENTORY • Held by senior most Warrant Rank or person detailed by S Met O or by himself. • Where Met officers not available, held by senior most Met Asst in the Unit / Section. • All items received/dispatched/consumed are to be accounted for promptly and accurately. • Inventory of ALGs held by controlling Unit. • Expense book is auditable.

  8. OCCASION OF INVENTORY CHECK • Change in Inventory holder. • Posting Out/In of Flt Cdr Met. • Annual physical check on or before 01 Apr for period ending 31 Mar every year. • Eqpt on loan to be withdrawn.

  9. ANNUAL PHYSICAL CHECK Inventory is to be forwarded to O I/C CMS with following complied:- (a) Physical Check by Independent checker on or before 01 Apr. (b) Discrepancies report as per Appx ‘C’. Sheet 1 of 1527 (Inventory) singed by the I/C and I/H. Date of check not later than 31 Mar. (d) RV of equipment not received are to be annotated in pencil with IV number and date. (e) All receipts and returns entries must be completed.
