  6. Legal and other Training Continue the on-line modules Three more one day level two days From January 2014 it is unlikely we will be putting on any further face to face training, work will then concentrate on preparation for new training modules – Jane McConnell from IPSEA is here and there is an opportunity this afternoon to talk more aboutthis Additional training, possibly on personalisation and personal budgets?

  7. Other bits.. Continue the SEN Information Group Start to draft what minimum standards for our service will look like – will build on the current exemplifications – hope there will be a link to them from the Code provide £1000 towards the costs of identifying a PPS lead in each region who will work with NPPN & the Parent Carer Forums to ensure closer working together and with other regional groups and also feed into and access opportunities on a national level.

  8. Future for PPS Remit extended to include the provision of information, advice and support to parents/carers of children and young people with SEN on any associated health and social care need. IAS to be provided to parents/carers of children and young people from birth to 25 Arrangements for the provision of IAS must be jointly commissioned Statutory duty for LA to provide information and advice to young people (16-25), Who? Where? How?
