Aims of ECTC The aim of ECTC is improvement of energy efficiency in industry This aim is being accomplished by: Preparation of training standards on energy efficiency in industry and conducting these trainings constantly, Establishing energy audit standards and conducting audits, Preparation of energy management systems in the industry and their implementation, Providing energy efficiency consulting in the industry, Conducting research and development on energy efficiency in the industry sector, Constant dissemination of knowledge on energy efficiency in industry, Cooperation with organisations and institutions engaged in realisation of ECTC goals, Participation in national and international programmes and initiatives on energy efficiency in the industry.

ECTC assets High level of theoretical knowledge Experts trained in Japan engaged in European programmes Constant cooperation with Warsaw University Technology Group of cooperating experts in industry Access to newest organisational and technical solutions in energy efficiency in industry Japanese (long cooperation) Participation in European programmes i.e. Intelligent Energy-Europe Participation in standardisation of CEN/CENELEC and IEC Participation in advisory and opinion forums in Poland and abroad Unique energy efficiency laboratory Stands equipped with technical facilities commonly used in industrial plants and with measuring devices for testing and control Measurement and collection data systems with visualisation of the results Software supported interpretation of measurement results Large industrial experience Providing energy audits using Japanese experience Unique measurement equipment for energy auditing Constant cooperation with experts with long industrial experience Experts representing commercial companies

Statistic report In the period of June 2005 – October 2009: More than 50 trainings took place, in which almost 650 people participated, 17 energy audit were conducted for chemical, pharmaceutical, machine, metallurgical, metal, paper, automobile, food, mining, heat and municipal service industries, 18 „open door” were arranged, 3 yearly conferences „Energy Efficiency. Lower energy costs in industry” were organised - 4th edition will take place on the 27th November 2009, Several thematic seminars were conducted (also with Japanese experts participation), 7 ECTC newsletter were published.
