Endowment for Distinguished Alumni Professorship (DAP) • Designed by Dr. Narendra Dahotre • UT/ORNL Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Tennessee • Six departments • Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, E & TC, Instrumentation, Metallurgy • $150K investment per department • Supports the professorship forever • Includes stipends for Alumni Graduate Fellows (GF) • And funds for lab equipment etc.

Let's build something together • Sponsor ten technocraft booths/models • Built by COEP students • During “Arts & Crafts Exhibition” • Part of annual social gathering, Regatta • Six departments and four student clubs • Astronomy, Robot circle, CIED, Environmental club • Alumni contribute Rs. 10,000/- for each group • Students buy raw material and build a model • Based on a central theme • Have a competition North-East USA Chapter Alumni Event: June 9, 2007
