  2. What’s the problem? Many people, especially those in developed countries, want to do more with their lives. They are unsure what to do or where to look. There is an overwhelming amount of information and plethora of choices. Where do you start?

Our solution We want to give people a tool that inspires them to broaden their horizons and experiences – a tool that encourages them to step outside their comfort zone, to try things they wouldn’t have ever considered. We want to distil the sheer amount of choices available to recommend activities and experiences that are tailored to the individual. We want to be the one stop shop that connects people to information, activities and communities that inspires them to broaden their horizons.

The inspire.me service We develop a platform service that recommends alternative experiences or activities for an individual based on a Fulfillment Wheel that broadly defines the major categories of fulfillment. Through browsing the wheel, we present them with valuable information they may not have found, and encourage them to try alternatives that they haven’t considered. Through our service, individuals are connected directly to activities, experiences or services that are relevant to them. The inspire.me service inspires them to empower themselves and unlock their hidden treasures.

Other functions • Other functions available include: • Presenting events or activities in a calendar format • Automatically setting reminders that encourage individuals to try new things • Allowing individuals to network to each other so they feel more encouraged to go to events • Reflect personal achievements back to themselves • Reviews of activities from other users

Sustainability and commercialisation options inspire.me is essentially a platform that intelligently connects individuals with both non-profit and for-profit service providers, activities and events. inspire.me will not charge individuals for any subscription or usage fee. If they choose to sign up to a for-profit service provider, inspire.me will charge a commission fee from the service provider. The value for profit service providers is that we provide them with new customers and inspire.me will recommend activities to individuals on an ongoing basis.
