What is new? • Market slowed down in 1Q06 : 4.5 gross adds and 3,7 MM churn/replacement) * • In 1Q 2006, customer base (including Caribbean) reach 246 MM • CDMA handset sold in 1Q represented 16 % of the growth. (down from last Q) . Main markets, Venezuela, Brazil and Mexico . • Caribbean Network deployment started roaming in 1Q • New CDMA Players in Caribbean : Digicel and probably C&W • EVDO • Brazil increases country coverage • Ecuador and Peru will launch EVDO networks in 2H 06 (only cards) • New Caribbean operators installing both Voice and EVDO networks • * Sales and NET Adds are from 1Q06 OPERATORS REPORTS. Churn is estimated in 1.5 %
