  4. Common findings • Marketing war between TEM and AMX for share (both total and flow share) is driving the region. Market grows 7-8 million handsets/month (4 million base increase and 3.5 MM churn) * • In 3Q , Customer Base Grew 11.5 M (to a total of 200 MM) • Only a few markets actively sell CDMA handsets: (14 % of the growth) Peru, Brazil, Venezuela. • Most of the mayor roaming agreements are in place. For new markets (inbound), pour attitude and lack of testing support. • OTA. Only Movistar Argentina and Vivo have OTA capabilities. • All operators want the inbound roaming revenues. Not all are ready. • None CDMA operators implemented EPRL. • Most carriers want CDMA agreement with VZW. * Sales and NET Adds are from 3Q05 OPERATORS REPORTS. Churn is estimated in 1.7 %
