Chapter Meetings • Monthly Meeting Presentations on Controls and Commissioning During Project Life Cycle • Joint Meeting with CSI • ASHRAE/SMACNA Night – Social Event, Vendor Displays, Technical Presentation • Tour of Local Sheet Metal and Piping Fab • Increased YEA and Student Social Events • Steelers and Pens Tickets for Door Prizes

May 12, 2014 Golf Classic • Held at Southpointe Golf Club • 18-Hole, Four Person Scramble with Dinner • 30 Foursomes, Steak BBQ, 50-50 Raffle, etc. • Gold, Silver, Bronze Level Sponsors • Vendor Volunteers & Sponsored Foursomes • 30% Increased Vendor Sponsors • Skills Competitions, Awards, Door Prizes

  5. 2013-2014 Chapter Goals and Results • Increase Engineer Monthly Participation 50% Increase • Increase Vendor Sponsor Based Programs 50% Increase • Create More Joint Organization Events CSI, SMACNA, 2030 • Makeup 2013 and Meet 2014 RP Goal Completed • Pursue PAOE Points Most Entered But Needs Improvement • Provide Backups for Chair Positions Added YEA Leadership But Needs Increased Participation to Fill Backup Positions • Perform Community Out Reach Project with Senior-Junior Mentoring Interface Started Ladies Group, YEA Events, Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh 2030 District Member

Plan to Increase Engineer Participation • Engineer Season Pass with Vendor Sponsor Completed • Offer More PDH Credit Opportunities Needs Improvement • Create Call Down List to Remind Engineers Not Accomplished • Revise Website and Send Email Notifications Very Successful! • Mail Monthly Flyers in Timely Manner Mailed Annual Notice • Visit Engineering Firms to Personally Invite Visited 2 per Month • Engage YEA Members to Volunteer as Chair Backups and Take Leadership Roles Contacted 2 per Month, Free Pens Tickets Raffled to YEA Members, Pitt vs. Virginia Tailgate Party, and Wigle Whiskey Tour

  7. Plan to Exceed RP Goal • Start Early … Start Early … Start Early!! Started 3 Months Early • Organize RP Committee with Backup Support Golf Classic Committee Well Organized/Coordinated with Multiple Meetings, But Calling Campaign Committee Needs Leadership • Repeat Golf Classic and Add Another Event No Major Fund Raising Event Added, Pens Raffle Tickets Helped • Create Campaign to Involve More Sponsors 50% Increase

Plan to Reach Other Organizations • Continue Joint ASHRAE/SMACNA Night Over 300 Attendees • Contact Carpenters Union to Offer ICRA Training Class Contacts Made But Training Not Organized • Contact CSI/AIA to Discuss Joint Venture/Social Held Joint Monthly Meeting Presentation and ASHRAE/CSI Ladies Wine Tasting Tour • Contact RSES to Share Program Information Completed • Contact Community Outreach Organization to Offer Volunteer Services for Local Project Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh Home Renovation Project with New Furnace, Cleaning and Painting • Two Engineer Ride Along Events with SMACNA • Grove City College Student Branch Presentation on Net Zero Buildings and Tour of Pittsburgh Energy Innovation Center • Volunteer Judge at Regional Future Cities Competition • ASHRAE Joined Pittsburgh 2030 District as Community Partner
