  2. PEOPLE China is very multi-ethnic. The Han people form a large majority of the population 94% to be exact. The Han people speak the language we know as Chinese. There are some Koreans in China because the Northern border of Korea touches China. For some ethnic Koreans, China is their ancestral home but for others it is where there grandparents sought refuge during the Japanese occupation at Korea(1905-1945). There are many different cultures and families in China. Many people in China make Tea which is very popular among the people. Ping-Pong is very popular among China. Students in China show respect to their teacher by bowing.

  3. Government • China has a government of Communism. Communism is when everyone has the same amount of money, same types of homes, etc sop no one feels less ten another person. There is no upperclassman in China nor is there any poverty going on. Hu Jintao is the current leader of China. Hu has been in Chinese politics for a while so he is very known by the people In China.

  4. Elections • Elections in China take 2 forms. Village Councils who live in designated rural areas do Direct Elections as well as local People’s Congress in all areas. All other levels of the Peoples congress up to the National People’s Congress, the national legislature, are indirectly elected by the people’s congress. Executive positions, including the President, the State Council and provincial governors are indirectly elected by the People's Congress of the relevant level. I believe their government is fair and makes no one above anyone or neither below everyone so everyone is the same. Also the quality of which education is given there is a problem the Han says the demand for better quality education is great in China. There are also many more problems Chinese people have with their education but they don’t know how they are going to change how things are going now.

  5. Economy • China is the world’s second largest economy behind the U.S. It is known as the world’s largest growing economy. Its growth rates are 10% from the past 30 years. China is the largest Exporter and second largest importer of goods in our world.

  6. Major Problems • China is having very major school problems right now first of all the difficulties of getting into school is hard, many families don’t get the opportunities of getting their kids in school cause the maybe cant afford it do to the number of children they have or the things they have in their house they pay for because everyone in China makes the same amount in China. Also the government doesn’t allow enough opportunities for education which is another problem.

  7. Political Factions • These are the 2 main parties in China • Kuomintang • Current ruling party, led by chairman and the President of the Republic of China Ma Ying-jeou and the leader of the Pan-Blue Coalition. • Democratic Progressive Party • The current main Opposition, led by chairwoman Tsai Ing-wen and the leader of Pan-Green Coalition.
