  3. The teaching staff: • the head teacher – mgr Krystyna Turnowiecka • the deputy head - mgr inż. Jan Szostek • school pedagogue • 14 qualified teachers • 21 nominated teachers • 10 contractual

  4. Status – a state school, self-dependent • Authorial programmes concerning sports activities. • Number of classes /unites/ - 11 • Number of students – 255

The school building /base/ • number of classrooms – 12 • computer labs - 2 • multimedia – the internet lab • library, reading-room • club room • school pedagogues` room • gym, fitness room • sports field (in reconstruction) • surgery (medical assistance of a nurse – twice a week) • possibility of buying lunch

  6. SPORTS GRAMMAR SCHOOL No 21 is a three-year state school. It`s main aim is to offer a general education to students to enable them taking A levels and improving sports skills.

  7. The scope of two school subjects – English and biology - has been extended It`s possible to find accommodation in a boarding school as well as full board The school cooperates with following sports clubs: - TREFL Piłka Siatkowa S.A. /volleyball/ -       GTS Granica -       Gedania -       GKS „Stoczniowiec” -       Lechia

  8. Students in our school do following sports: • wrestling • boys and girls` volleyball • football • ice hockey • figure skating • table tennis

  9. COMPETITIONS • I place in a competition on province level “Strateg biznesu” (Business Strategist) organized by the Gdansk city president`s office • A distinction in the category of individual works – ecological competition “Ecoplanet” • III place Fire-fighting Contest “Youth prevent fires”organized by The Voluntary Fire Brigade and the municipality of Gdansk
