  3. Statement of Business Concept OCEANIC 815 Global Warming may have to do with the climate but also the pollution of our water. This effects animals, plants and even us, to improve this we have created a new way to capture fish. It is an organic net made out of seaweed which will impact on the environment. This seaweed net won’t pollute the water or cause harm. We use the ocean with the wave measurement, this tracks the waves to figure out were most seaweed is located. Sea level helps us figure out how deep we have to go and the ocean currents informs us of the direction of the waves so we can get seaweed.

  4. Business Needs OCEANIC 815 Oceanic 815 is a business who sells organic seaweed nets. We hand make them and sell them in orders that can be placed. This organic product helps save the ocean. We store our nets in a cool place, a freezer. When they are shipped these packages are placed in a freezer. We develop and help people understand that there are ways to keep the ocean clean. For our employees, they work and help save the ocean and for this they are paid around $10 an hour. They choose whether to work from 6-8 hours a day.

  5. Business Rules OCEANIC 815 Each Employer must have first name, last name, address and phone number. Each Employer may work on one or more nets. Each Employer must wear the proper clothing and have the proper materials to get the seaweed. We keep track of how much seaweed we grow in the ocean and how much we collect. The organic nets out of seaweed must be placed in plastic bags before putting it into the freezer. The nets must be delivered to the destination that is given.

  6. Issues OCEANIC 815 If you ever looked at a beach you would see that it is filled of garbage. The water that we swim in and plants and animals live in is polluted, which is not healthy. This states the reason of Global Warming, in our case which is effecting human life. Some people like to spend there time at the beach relaxing and others may go fishing. They spend many hours their and might start polluting it. For the people that don’t pollute they can’t enjoy themselves because they are busy worrying about the harm that may come. As for the fishermen they go fishing looking forward to catch some fish but may be polluting the ocean. As you know nets are used to catch fish, which are made of rope. This is used because of strength of the material. If the fisherman doesn’t receive the fish they might just release the net into the ocean not thinking of the consequences that it may impact. Many people have tried to help save the ocean and environment. This supports the solution that we are trying to help improve. The beaches are hurting our environment and we need to save the planet one net at a time.

  7. Solution OCEANIC 815 We are using organic seaweed nets to improve the environment which will help in many ways. These organic nets will help improve the ocean and help it get better. This will show people that there are ways to help the environment get better. When using these organic seaweed nets it is good because if it ever breaks we can just throw it in the ocean for the fish to eat and we are not polluting anything. This organic seaweed net won’t cause any harm in any way. Its actually good for the ocean and the animals that live there. This product will make a big difference in our environment and it will be better place with these organic seaweed nets.

  9. ERD Description OCEANIC 815 • Our product are nets made out of seaweed. • We keep track of our employees and costumers by requiring their names, age, gender, phone number and e-mails, to indentify them easier we also give them a specific id number. • Orders also get a specific id number and a due date, employees take care of them. • Wave measurement is used to track the seaweed, this way we find it easier.
