  5. Start By Deleting All? • Yes - only if just starting out! • No - If Building SubSKUS! • No - If Data Has Been Established • No – If Tracking Inventory

  6. If Data Already Present? • Replace All – Overwrites All OM Fields with Incoming Data • Not recommended when tracking QOH – replaces on-hand numbers • No if you have added your own data like descriptions, etc. • No if you import from multiple sources

  7. Replace Selected Fields? • Highly Recommended! • Product Changes Like Pricing, Descriptions, Weight • Only Impacts Selected Field(s)

  8. Do Not Modify? • Best for New Products • Does not impact existing data • Safe!

  9. Option Lists • Replace All – Not When Established! Lose Sorting! • Just Add New – Highly Recommended • Don’t Import – Best if Simple Changes to Existing Items

  14. Types Of SKUs • Warehouse – Company’s Physical Goods • Drop-Ship – Goods Owned By Vendor • Service – Time Based Charges • Fulfillment – Not Filled In-House • Kit – Virtual Product Made Up Of Parts • Assembly – Product Of Other Products • Multi-Units – Quantities Of Same Product

  15. Basics For All SKUs • Required and Must Be Unique • Product SKU • 50 Characters or Less – Viewability (new word…) • Easily Identifiable • No Special Characters • Short & Sweet • Product Name/Short Description • 250 Characters or Less • Succinct Product “Name” • No Special Characters

  36. Variants • Parent SKU is Virtual – No QOH and Should NEVER Be Sold! • Variants (SubSKUs) Represent the Products • Variant SKU Built From Parent SKU and Option Value(or portions of)

(Engraving, Silk Screen, Finish, Etc.)? • Does An Option Represent a Completely Separate Product (Select Item to go into gift basket)? • Saying Yes to Any of the Above? You’re in Luck – We Support All!

It Is Used to Create a New Line Item In the Order THIS ITEM REPRESENTS A PRODUCT SELECTION AS PART OF A PRODUCT GROUP SUPERSCEDES SUBSKU BUILD
