Scenario Identification • Burden of proof --> clear allocation • Acceptability of sectoral expertise when including/excluding scenarios • Extent of combinations (no ambiguity) • Clear scope of validation • Validation of benchmarks (Who? When? How?) • Release of new tools --> accompanied by relevant guidance

  3. Emission Reduction Calculations • Monitoring is the challenge • Conservativeness vs. accuracy • Frequency of updating benchmarks • Clear fixing of options in PDD and validation • No ambiguity

  4. DOE requirements • Practicability • Reproducibility • Delimitable scope of assessment /level of scrutiny • Acceptance of Expert’s Opinion
