EO Overview • An international, non-profit educational organization (501(c)3) • Chapter-driven organization run by member volunteers and supported by EO staff • Programs designed to keep members informed on business, geopolitical and technological issues • Stress importance of personal development as equal partner to professional development

EO History • 1987 • Founded as YEO following 3rd Annual ACE (Assn. of Collegiate Entrepreneurs) Top 100 event. • EO’s board originally included: • Neil Balter (California Closet Company) • Julie Brice (I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt) • Verne Harnish (First Principles Group & Gazelle’s Inc.) • Kevin Harrington (Home Shopping Network Direct) • Ted Leonsis (Redgate Communications & America Online)

  5. EO History • 1989 - EO officially incorporated • 1990 - 1st chapters launched with help of YPO • 1996 - 1,000 members & WEO established • 2003 - 5,000 members • 2005 - organization rebrands as “EO”

  6. EO Today • Members – 6,000 worldwide (North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia/Pacific) • Chapters – 131 in 44 countries • Combined Sales – US$83 Billion • Combined Employees – 700,000 • Average Member – 37 years old with sales of US $12M

  10. EO Membership Requirements • Be the founder, co-founder, owner or controlling shareholder of a company • Have gross annual revenues in excess of US$1 million • Must be under 40 for YEO • Must be under 50 for World Entrepreneurs’ Organization (WEO), EO’s graduate peer group
