Next Steps • November 2005: Human factors testing commences • December 2005: Professional Heads will receive a proforma • Register of closed company specific NIRs • Proformas required by ITL in mid January 2006 • NIR database will be updated • January - February 2006: Demonstration seminars • Located in: • Birmingham • Bristol • Edinburgh • Leeds • London • Invites will be sent out in December 2005

Next Steps • January 2006: • Blanket non-compliance to be sought for Railway Group Standard GE/RT8250 - ‘Safety Monitoring and Defect Reporting of Rail Vehicles, Plant and Machinery’ • February 2006: NIR-Online goes live • http://www.nir-online.net • Online help video • 24 hour technical help support available from Interfleet Technology • Online feedback facility

What Users need to do prior to launch • Ensure potential Users have registered • Existing Users will migrate to NIR-Online • Attend a demonstration seminar • Users notify preferred means of communication: • Email • Text message • Professional Heads to confirm closed company specific NIRs • Check http://www.nir-online.net for updates
