  3. Goal of the eCIP • The eCIP is intended to be a planning tool and resource for districts • Compliance with state and federal regulations is only one element

  18. Section 2: Collect & Analyze Data • What does the data tell your about student achievement? • ODE will provide access to the state level data, you just need to analyze it! • Districts can also provide their own data elements • Districts will identify areas in need of improvement

  19. Section 3: Set Goals based on Data • What priority goals will improve your current program and student achievement? • Statement of goal • Rationale • Educational research related to the goal

  20. Section 4: Develop Action Plan • Part 1: Given your student achievement outcomes, what changes to programs and services may be necessary? • Address Oregon Standards #1 – 10

  21. Section 5: Develop Action Plan • Part 2: What specific actions should the district undertake to meet the district goals identified? • Ability to submit plans: • Staff Development • English Language Learner • Career Technical Education Plan • Migrant Education Plan • Education Technology

  22. Section 6: Implement & Monitor • How did you do on your previous goals? • Evidence of Implementation (Cause) • Evidence of Impact (Effect) Ability to look at previous goals from previous eCIP submissions
