Central public library of ulaanbaatar /CPL/ - 1 • Established in 1980 • Centralized in 1986 • Today with 4 branches, 80 staffs, 450000 resources • CPL automation since 1998 – Softlink Alice • CPL Internet connection since 1999 • No internet, no automation software implementation in branch libraries

Central public library of ulaanbaatar /CPL/ - 2 • Library Barcode Card – 1999 • Free Internet service – 2002 • American Corner – 2004 • Reading room with Braille books – 2004 • No library card, Fingerprint module implementation to save plastic card expenditure - 2005 • Open stacks service environment - 2008 • DAISY Digital Talking books – 2010 : by EIFL-PLIP • Koha open source, web based LIS – 2011 : by KOICA • No modern services in branch libraries, all above modern services only in Central Public Library
