  3. Brief summary of the work Volunteering in Dubai Public library • I did my volunteer work in Al Safa brunch • For 5 days: • 3 days in the Adults section • 2 days with the kids section • Distributed surveys • There website : • http://www.dubaipubliclibrary.ae/

  4. Findings : Volunteering in Dubai Public library The monthly report Only 5 family membership Most of the kids came because of the parents Most of adult visitors came for studying The most services that been used were using the internet and using the Wi-Fi.

  9. Advantages: Volunteering in Dubai Public library I gained an experience. The monthly report shows all the statistic . Providing about 17 services for the visitors. Encoring families to read by making family membership The division of the books’ sections simplify searching for the book for the visitors. There are many branches in each main neighborhood in Dubai city. There is networking between the brunches.

  10. Disadvantages Volunteering in Dubai Public library Not all the visitors are familiar with the services provided. Kids section don’t have enough staff Most the visitors gave the library’s services and environment 7 out of 10 !

  11. The future Volunteering in Dubai Public library I think all the public libraries will shift to an electronic ones The need for hard copy books is decreasing
