  2. Create a 3 View Multiview Sketch • Choose Front, Side & Top View • Layout blocks for each view. • Sketch front view. • Project height to side view and width to top. • Use construction lines to transfer features. • Adjust line weights and add center & hidden lines. See text page 122 to 123

  3. Checklist for Multiview Drawings • Equal spacing between views • Center line is shown in all views. • Views are aligned. • Views have standard arrangement. • Line weights are correct. • Line types are correct See text page 119 to 123 and 382-437

  4. Checklist for Isometric Drawings • Draw box with Isometric axis 30o from horizontal. • Draw all lines true length • No hidden lines • Use 4 center Ellipse method for circles • To draw non-isometric lines plot end points then connect. See text page 101 to 107 and 468-485

  5. Checklist for Oblique Drawings • Place circular features on front view • Choose receding angle and direction to show the best view of the object • No hidden lines • Use 4 Center Ellipse method for circles • Check to see if back of hole shows • Cavalier oblique depth is true length • Cabinet oblique depth is half size See text page 108 to 109 and 498-507 See text page 108 to 109 and 498-507

  6. Checklist for Drawing Sections • Draw at least two multiviews. • Place the section view in relation to multiviews. • Use the multivews to transfer info to section • Label the section: • Show cutting plane with letters (i.e. A, A or B,B) • Title the section view ( i.e. Section AA) • Show arrows on cutting plane corresponding to position of section See text page 642 to 668
