  3. Getting Started…. • Gather materials needed • Relax • Analyse the object. Consider: • Light source • Shadows • Texture • Overall shape • Think of the object in smaller shapes (visually dissect it)

  4. Intense Observation • To accurately draw an object, they key is to take much time in observing it’s details • This will help you achieve realism

  5. Steps: • 1. Draw the outline of the shape. Every object is a shape – draw it as your base • 2. Observe the object for light source, texture, shadows to fill in the shape. Use the side of your pencil for shading. • 3. Fill in the fine details with the tip of the pencil. • 4. Refine lines – some lines will be harder than others…observe.
