  2. equ- same or equal • adequate-satisfactory or acceptable in quality or quantity : • equate- consider (one thing) to be the same as or equivalent to another • equilateral-having all its sides of the same length

  3. equ- same, equal • equation- a statement that the values of two mathematical expressions are equal • equality- the state of being equal, esp. in status, rights, and opportunities • equivalence- equal in value, amount, function, meaning, etc.

  4. equ- same or equal • equalitarian- of, relating to, or believing in the principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities • equator-an imaginary line drawn around the earth equally distant from both poles, dividing the earth into northern and southern hemispheres and constituting the parallel of latitude 0°.

  13. holo- whole, complete • holograph-a manuscript handwritten by the person named as its author • hologram-a three-dimensional image formed by the interference of light beams from a laser or other coherent light source. • holistic-characterized by comprehension of the parts of something as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.

  14. sen- old • sentimental- of or prompted by feelings of tenderness, sadness, or nostalgia • seniority-a competitor of above a certain age or of the highest status • senile- (of a person) having or showing the weaknesses or diseases of old age, esp. a loss of mental faculties • senior- of a more advanced age
