  2. Full Front • Abbreviation is FF. • The actor is facing the audience. • The “full front” of the actor is seen by the audience. • This is a great position for being heard by the audience.

  3. Full Back • The Abbreviation is FB. • The actor is facing away from the audience. • The actor is positioned where on the “full back” of the actor is seen by the audience. • Actors should not be in full back position unless directed to do so.

  4. Profile Left • The actor is facing the left side of the stage. • The audience is only able to see the profile of the actor. • The abbreviation is “PL”.

  5. Profile Right • The actor is facing the right side of the stage. • The audience is only able to see the profile of the actor. • The abbreviation is “PR”.

  6. Quarter turn right • The actor turns slightly to the right side of the stage. (actor’s right) • Most of the actor’s front can be seen by the audience. • This position is half way between full front and profile right. • The abbreviation is ¼ R.

  7. Quarter turn left • The actor turns slightly to the left side of the stage. (actor’s left) • Most of the actor’s front can be seen by the audience. • This position is half way between full front and profile left. • The abbreviation is ¼ L.

  8. Three quarter turn right • The actor is almost in a full back position. • This position is halfway between full back and profile right. • The abbreviation is ¾ R. • Actors should only be in this position is directed to do so.

  9. Three quarter turn left • The actor is almost in a full back position. • This position is halfway between full back and profile left. • The abbreviation is ¾ L. • Actors should only be in this position is directed to do so.
