  2. CRIME • Crime: an act committed or omitted in violation of a law forbidding or commanding it and for which punishment is imposed upon conviction. • Crime is everywhere no matter where we are. Crime has a long, long history dating back to Biblical times when Adam & Eve and were on the earth and committed the first sin.

  3. CRIMES EFFECT HEALTHcare COMMUNITY Crime in certain communities can cause property values to decline. Early studies have shown that neighborhoods with high crime rates will continue unless a community effort to stop it. Many residents of the community become defensive and less committed to their communities. The social fiber of a community is weakened. However, some communities adopt watch programs to help revitalize the community in avoiding its decay. • Crime affects the health through its harmful effects on victim’s families and friends. Also crime causes people to feel unsafe even with the risk being low. Crime costs the healthcare a lot of money for victims protection, staff and property against crime. With the demands of the victims harmed by it make on emergency and other services. The main effects of crime on health are physical injuries, disabilities or death.
