  9. Project Sponsor Patrick Harris visiting January 24 – 26 • Aiming to get basic prototype for program completed • Includes GUI and subfunctions • Also shooting for acquisition of all hardware components and initial integration of components

  10. Software Progress • With the help of Qt, most of the visual aspects of the GUI are completed. • Subfunctions, like search, lookup, and compare in the databases, are close to completion.

  11. Hardware Progress • PDA Scanner Acquired (Symbol MC50) • Host computer, WLAN router, and barcode printer on the way. • These components will be setup and integrated as soon as they arrive.
