  13. WIG Job Descriptions Producer: Manages the creative process from beginning to end. Is responsible for weekly project status reports, tracking deliverable deadlines, organizing meetings and conference rooms, taking meeting notes and assigning tasks to team members. Typically interacts between Client, PM and WIG team. Interaction Designer: Is responsible for user research, persona development, interactive interface development and in general is the advocate to the user. Also referred to as the User Experience designer (UXD) Information Architect: Is responsible for Site Map development and wire-frame development. Works with Interaction Designer very closely during discovery phases to ensure the user experience is carried through into the web site. Graphic Designer: Converts wire-frame layouts into web pages (generally in Photoshop). Is responsible for concept design for interface elements like forms, tables, colors and fonts. Typically this phase is referred to as look and feel. However a more accurate description is the presentation, the feel is managed by the interaction designer. The GD is generally responsible for web ready art. HTML Developer: Converts web ready art into html files. may also be involved with the UXD in developing working prototypes for testing interactive elements like navigation or advanced application interfaces. The code is handed off the development team. Content Specialist: Is responsible for developing and maintaining the "tone" of communication for the website. Works closely with the Marketing group in writing content for each page of the website. Maintains a content matrix which contains headlines, sub headlines, body content labels table headers etc. for each page. Works with producer in maintaining this matrix. Content Management Tool Admin: Is responsible for administration of the content management tool. This tool is predominately used for web site updates. The admin works with the IA in defining the user architecture of the admin tool to ensure it mirrors the actual website in order to ease the maintenance.
