劉揚於 1976 年生於北京。 13 歲隨家人遷居德國。 17 歲時被德國柏林藝術大學設計系錄取，師從於霍爾格 . 馬諦斯，獲碩士及大師班學位。 畢業後曾先後在倫敦、柏林、紐約工作及生活。 零四年在柏林開始自己的設計工作室。 曾任教於荷蘭設計中心、中國中央美術學院設計系、英國格拉斯歌美術學院，並在國際設計研討會及博覽會講座。 劉揚的作品曾多次在國際設計大賽中獲重要獎項， 作品被國際多家博物館展覽並收藏。 Liou Yang , 1976 Beijing born Chinese, now lives in Germany blue=Germany, Red=China.
