Learning Object Economy challenges us to: • define what constitutes an educationally meaningful stand alone unit • avoid the pitfall of transferring direct from classroom to online • design learning objects for A2L • create a taxonomy that enables the learner to search in addition to defining the size and shape of the learning gap • create supportive ownership models
