  6. Improv a speech: You are going to be given a card with a subject on it. You must improv a speech about it for no less than One Minute with 30 seconds of questions after your done. This exercise is to prepare you to perform in front of a crowd all by yourself.

Assignment: You will select a monologue to perform in class. 1) Your monologue must be no less than twelve lines long. 2) It must be completely memorized. 3) It must be performed in character - Costumes welcome. 4) It must show motives and tactics of your character. 5) Must show subtext of lines. * We all start performing in a week from now* You will have time during class to rehearse and work on your monologue.

  15. Where you can get your monologue: 1) Movie or play. 2) MUST BE PERFORMED BY YOURSELF AND YOURSELF ONLY!!! 3) Has to be appropriate - no foul language or in appropriate content. 4) Must be signed off by me before you can start.
