  1. CGRO Archive Status • Final archive and SW migration effort was supported at diminishing levels through FY02. • Majority of effort completed • Programmers released to GLAST • Currently, only ~1/4 FTE remaining on CGRO SSC • Total DB volume ~170 Gb Final Archive & SW Migration Effort

  2. CGRO Archive Status OSSE Status • Low-level VP data analysis system no longer supported • High-level products DB significantly enhanced • VP sums, low & hi res XSPEC compatible spectra & responses • Daily sums (most VPS), Orbital sums (22 sources) • Timing-mode data not archived • Substantial difficulty in exporting from native formats • Solar flare products (1991 X-class flares) pending (Mar 03) • GRB DB also pending (Mar 03) • Spectra & responses for ~15 in detector FoV, off-axis time histories

  3. CGRO Archive Status BATSE DB & SW • Problems with daily data identified & fixed • Pulsar DB completed • ~55 sources, flux, freq histories, OB LCs • Reprocessing of trigger data pending • minor modifications, e.g. improves burst positions, quality filtering • SW migration essentially completed • bfluxhis, bcont, bcmppha, bpulsar, groview, in next FTOOLS release • FIXES made to bod2pha, bodrmf, & bodgetVP • EOCC DB completed • full source histories (~60 sources) archived as high-level product

  4. CGRO Archive Status • All VP data stable: Reprocessed in 01 w/final calibrations • mainly effects >~ GeV events at high-latitude • Calibration database for full mission FITS converted • SW migration completed as of last (05/02) HUG • Complete analysis possible under FTOOLS • EGRET team analysis system also updated and archived EGRET

  5. CGRO Archive Status • Cycle 1-8 VPs FITS converted and archived • COMPASS not longer supported • Most of Cycle 9 still pending (may fall on floor) • COMPASS system at GSFC failed after Y2K debacle COMPTEL
