  1. Secretary of State PCC Project Status Partnerships

  2. Introduction The Secretary of State’s Office and RecordFusion began implementation of the new URLP project by configuring and installing servers for the new application at the SOS. The application was completed June 30, 2009, however, UAT continued throughout the month of July and August. Version 1.1.0 Limited Partnership module release was deployed on October 1, 2009.

Partnership Project • Core Module deliverable is 100% complete • UAT is 100% complete • Data Migration is 100% complete • After review of data conversion and functionality by DoIT four minor issues were identified and resolved by RecordFusion and the Secretary of State’s Office. • Version 1.1.0 Limited Partnership module release was deployed on October 1, 2009. The Secretary of State’s office would like to close this project at the October, 2009 meeting.

  4. closed Items Training • Training was conducted on June 29th & 30th. This phase has been completed. Testing Status • The testing phase has been completed. • DoIT completed their review of data conversion and functionality, September 2009.

  5. expenditures Funding / Spending-The expenses incurred so far, for the Partnership Project are as follows: • Record Fusion (Partnership software & maintenance/support) $126,443.00 • POD Assoc. Inc. (IV&V) $6000.00 • Abba Tech (Server) $5,090.52 • Juniper Secure Services $5,736.54 • Firewalls and Hardware $6,729.94

  6. Successes • Addressing and resolving a potentially project-stopping issue when the network failed. • Receiving and installing the hardware for project deployment. • Managing parallel projects (security assessment) simultaneous with this project. • RecordFusion reporting completion of database table settings, progress on data conversion and preparedness for training, testing and task was completed on June 2009. • Completed software testing phase on July 2009. • Data conversion testing is complete. • Training is complete. • Version 1.1.0 Limited Partnership module release was deployed on October 2009, and is ready to be closed.
