  5. Junior 1 Squad Objectives • Develop stroke skills• Introduction to competitive turns• Learn to execute a safe competitive start from blocks Competitions • Internal Galas• Novice Meets

Junior 2 Squad Objectives • Develop stroke skills• Introduction to competitive turns• Learn to execute a safe competitive start from blocks• Introduction to interval training by use of pace clock Competitions • Internal Galas• County Development Meet • Novice Meets• Level 3 meets• Team & Novice Galas

Junior 3 Squad Objectives • Develop Stroke Efficiency• Develop speed of Starts and Turns• Awareness of Pace Control• Introduction to Land Warm Up• Understand use of Pace Clock for Interval Training Competitions • Internal Galas• County Championship & County development Meet• Open meets level 3• Selection to Junior League Events & Novice Galas

Junior 4 Squad Objectives Develop Stroke Efficiency with medley emphasis• Develop speed of starts and turns (including relay take overs)• Develop aerobic fitness for swimming• Introduction to Land Training with Core Strength• Introduction to correct warm up protocols for competition and training Competitions • Be available for all League & Junior Galas if selected • Internal Galas & Level 3 Open Meets • Aim to compete at County Championships• Novice Team Galas

Junior 5 Squad Objectives • Develop Stroke Efficiency with medley emphasis• Develop speed of starts and turns including relay take overs• Develop aerobic fitness for swimming• Introduce BasicRace Plans• Introduction to Land Training with Core Strength• Develop correct warn up protocols for competition and training Competitions • Be available for all league Galas if selected • Enter Open Meets Level 1,2 & 3• Full Programme of Club / County Championships • Regional Championships if Qualifying times are met • Wear Club Kit to all competitions
