  2. O PROFETA PAULO saiu pregando SALVAÇÃO para todos e não somente para os Judeus, isso tornou a Igreja Católica UNIVERSAL.

  3. AS PERSEGUIÇÕESAOS CRISTÃOS

  4. Durante séculos a Igreja Católica crescia e sofria perseguições dos imperadores romanos, pois a Igreja Católica não aceitava ser a religião oficial do Império ao lado de outras religiões.

  5. As perseguições tiveram um efeito contrário e serviram para que os adeptos aumentassem o rebanho cristão

  6. Por pregarem a SALVAÇÃO ÚNICA E ABSOLUTA, os cristão tentavam convencer os camponeses á se converterem e aos poucos adaptavam suas comemorações às comemorações cristãs.Os IMPERADORES ROMANOS CONSTANTINO (306 – 337) e TEODÓSIO (379 – 395) Fundamentaram o CRISTIANISMO no Ocidente.
