  2. Mercury • Mercury: It is the first planet in our solar system.

  3. Venus • Venus has a very rocky surface.

  4. Earth • It is the planet with the only sign of life and is covered with ¾ water.

  5. Mars • It is called the barren planet.

  6. Jupiter • Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system.

  7. Saturn • Saturn is 9 times the size of earth.

  8. Uranus • Something hit Uranus and turned it on its side.

  9. Neptune • Neptune was discovered in 1846.

  10. Pluto • In 2007 Pluto was called a dwarf planet.

  11. Ceres • Ceres is a dwarf planet. Ceres has a large spot, but no one knows what causes it.

  12. Eris • Eris, another dwarf planet, is slightly larger than Pluto.
