  2. Snakes are Reptiles. • They are related to lizards, turtles, alligators and crocodiles. • Snakes have back bones, scaly skin and they are cold blooded.

  3. Snakes have no legs. • Their thin bodies can be long or short. • Snakes have lungs, stomachs, hearts, and organs. • They are muscular and strong.

  4. Snakes can’t walk or run. • They have three ways of moving: 1. loop along the ground 2.sqeeze box motion 3.sidewinding

  5. Snakes do not see like people. • They have inner ears. • Snakes smell with their tongue.

  6. A snakes skin is not slimy it is actually hard and smooth. • The scales are hard and thick. • Did you know that snakes have a invisible scale over there eyes? • Colors and patterns hide the snake from enemies.

  7. Snakes have three layers of skin. • They shed their skin when they grow.

  8. I think snakes are cool interesting creatures. • Do you like SNAKES?
