Honduras. Why I choose Honduras!. I choose Honduras because I love going there !. I have gone there ever summer for the past 3 years!. I get to help and play with the most amazing kids ever!. Where its located!. When I go to Honduras I go to a town called Puerto Lempira.

  2. Why I choose Honduras! • I choose Honduras because I love going there! • I have gone there ever summer for the past 3 years! • I get to help and play with the most amazing kids ever!

  3. Where its located! • When I go to Honduras I go to a town called Puerto Lempira. • This is were I stay! • Honduras is between the countries Guatemala and Nicaragua! • It is located right by the water!

  4. About the House of Hope • Its also a place where kids can come and learn! • It was built by the people in Honduras and mission workers! • The House of Hope opened in 2004! • The House of Hope is a home for kids that have a physical disability and need surgery or recovering from surgery!

  5. Send Hope • Send Hope is the name of the Mission work. • He is a dentist and went down there on a mission trip and feel in love with the people and has helped every since then! • It was started by Tom Brian about 17 years ago. • He had the House of Hope built and goes down there about 6 or 7 times a year and takes a lot of people down there to help. • For more information about Send Hope you canwww.send-hope.org

  6. Why I love it! • They are so cute and fun to play with! • The kids are the reason why I love going! • kids

  7. What I do when I go there! • We help out at a school! • We work with children and help out at The House of Hope! • We play with the kids and love on the kids!

  8. A little about the country • Language: Spanish, Amerindian dialects • The capital is Tegucigalpa • The population: 7,483,763 (taken in 2007) • Ethnicity: Mestizo (mixed Amerindian and European) 90%, Amerindian 7%, black 2%, white 1% • Religion: Roman Catholic 97%, Protestant 3%

It is something you will never forget! • You won’t want to leave and when you do you start counting down the days till you can go again! • Its one of those trips that makes you so thankful for what you have! • You will never forget what you saw & learned! • You will always remember the kids & people that you meet & how you changed their lives!
